You know you have to be bored if you paint the photograph on the cover of the JC Penney February catalogue.  But, the Photo caught my eye as a watercolor exercise.

The Color of Visby In The Fall

I took hundreds of pictures of this enchanting, medieval town when visiting Gotland, Sweden. I finally got up enough courage to paint one of the pictures. It is a mixed media on heavy weight paper.
